Tuesday Inspo – Sourcing A Colour Palette!

Happy Tuesday!

Welcome back to the Rachael Taylor blog! We hope everyone has had a great few days. As some of you may have spotted, Rachael has been sharing snippets of the ‘Rachael Taylor Garden‘ series as well as the ‘Rachael Taylor Renovation Project.’ In these posts Rachael delves into the nitty gritty of renovating, landscaping, remodelling & our studio favourite, decorating!

As a colour addict, Rachael’s had a fabulous bit of fun choosing colours & experimenting with fun combinations of paint to decorate her interior spaces & even the fun touches in her garden! We absolutely love this process & wanted to share some of that love with our readers, so today we took to Instagram to find some fabulous colour palettes from around the globe.

To our delight, we found that there were actually TONS of examples of palette inspiration & it doesn’t just stop with paint swatches – there are SO many sources all around us to gain inspiration for a colour palette. From makeup & sprinkled donuts to household wires & even a trip to the craft store, if you can snap a photo (or mix the colours yourself), you can make a palette!

Below are 10 different images tagged under #colourpalette & #popsofcolour on Instagram. We love how people can see potential palettes in everyday items & in plain sight – we encourage you to get out & about to choose your own colour palettes! You never know what inspiration you will find (which is especially helpful if you’re planning a decorating project)!
