Interiors Roundup – Half Painted Walls!

Hello Everyone!

Welcome back to the latest Interiors Roundup post! We hope you’ve all enjoyed the GLORIOUS weather we’ve had over the last week – it has been fantastic to see some sunshine!

Today in our interiors post we’re taking a look at the half painted wall (sometimes a three-quarter painted wall) that is taking interior magazines, Pinterest & Instagram by storm! We love how this trend is transcending different decor styles – from minimalist Scandi decor to more traditional Victorian design, the half-painted wall is making a big impression on interiors!

If you love to make a bold impression with colour, or have always wanted to & have been a little apprehensive, the half-painted wall is a fantastic way to experiment & get creative. If you’re feeling extra colourful, you could try a vibrant colour such as tangerine on the bottom paired with a neutral tone on the top, or even go with a super dark charcoal colour on the bottom paired with a brilliant white. It really is a great way to make a colour statement without overwhelming a room!

If you’re feeling up to the task, the half-painted wall is also a fun way to get in some DIY time! Grab a brush, your colour of choice, some painting supplies (be sure to measure & mark out first for a straight line) & go!

If you’re not too sure what it may look like, today we’ve collated some lovely examples of half-painted walls to inspire you! We love the variation in styles here & how a simple painted wall can add so much style & personality to a space!
