Welcome back to the Rachael Taylor blog! We hope you've all had a great start to December & are enjoying the festive vibes!
If you've ever completed one of the Make It In Design e-courses or just enjoy designing yourself, it's likely you'll have created your own mood boards (but if you haven't, today you've come to the right place)!
Mood boards come in all shapes, sizes & mediums, spanning from scrapbook pages & cut-out magazines to photo collages & digital compilations. No matter what format they come in, the purpose of a mood board is to inspire you & your creative projects. Common things you'll see on mood boards are colour swatches, textures & on-trend or seasonal imagery that might inspire surface pattern motifs & patterns, home decorating schemes & more!
We've written about mood boards in the past (it's no secret we love them) but since it's nearly Christmas time, we wanted to provide you with some seasonal mood board inspiration! It's always great to get a little insight into what inspires other creative folk, so here are five fab mood boards we thought were filled with lovely festive imagery & colour themes!
You can see these & more on our Pinterestest 'Likes' page. If you love what you see, we encourage you to create & share your very own mood boards this Christmas!
