Interiors Roundup – The Ever-Trending Pineapple!

Welcome back to another Interiors Roundup! Today we are loving the sunshine & feeling very summery so we thought this week would be a fab time to cover a super-tropical, summery trend: pineapples!

Theres no denying that the pineapple craze has been around for a couple of years, but judging by the high street shops, interiors magazines & trends on Instagram & Pinterest, there’s no slowing down for this colourful fruit-come-decor motif.

So, why are these fruits so trendy & loved by so many interior design lovers? We think it’s because the pineapple symbolises positive vibes & happy times – we think of fun holidays, tropical weather, delicious drinks like Pina Coladas & bright colours when we see this super fun fruit. Another trend that’s a bit similar is the bright pink flamingo, which is has definitely spiked in popularity across fashion, interiors & surface pattern! We love it!

If you’re not keen on the yellow & green, or want a more neutral take on the pineapple, don’t worry – shops all over are making them in lovely pastel colours, as well as chrome, rose gold & even glitter!
