In celebration of summer’s well anticipated arrival, we thought it would put together a little guide on how to bring your garden to life. We’re hoping that it will inspire you, get your creative design ideas flowing, & help you turn your greenspace into a fabulous area for you to enjoy. Since not everyone has the budget or tools for landscaping & big garden projects, we thought we’d focus on the little touches & tweaks that you can make to your garden – all at a small cost but with a big impact!


Garden Textiles

To start, you can spend a little time picking out some bright, summery cushions & homely bunting to place around your garden space. If you’re more hands on, perhaps consider making your own garden textiles to liven up your shed, outdoor furniture, or your open lawn space:

Garden Lighting

There are tons of cute ways to bring light into your garden, particularly on those mild nights when you like to stay out after sunset. Here are some adorable little DIY lighting ideas, mostly made using fairy lights, candles, and everyday household items:

Garden Botanics

Flower pots & arrangements don’t always equal cost & heavy maintenance. Some flower types are cheap, hard to kill, & still bring that pop of colour your garden space needs. Here are some simple examples of how you can easily bring some botanical life to your garden:
